Hmmm. I was surprised to see 75° on my weather gauges when I rose from bed at 5 am this morning. Not much rain overnight in Otsego, just a meager .05 of an inch.
Today the sun rises at 7:15 and sets at 8:06 pm in Otsego and areas along the 131 corridor – hard to believe we have lost close to three hours of daylight since the summer solstice already. By the end of the month, sunset time will be 7:24 pm.
Enjoy today, today’s temps maybe our warmest for the week accord to the NWS until Friday. Today’s high maybe what we are having during the early morning today. Tomorrow we could be only in the low 60s with 60s to near 70 the rest of the week. There will be chances of rain every day this week. There are frost and freeze advisories and warnings across the northern plains for tonight.

- Drier and cooler Today Storms are moving east and cold front pushes through this morning with drier and cooler weather for today. Last of the showers should clear the southeast zones after 8 am. - Cool and rainy on Tuesday and Wednesday Cold front stalls over the Ohio Valley with overrunning pattern bringing low clouds and showers through Tuesday and Wednesday when the front returns as a warm front across southern Lower Michigan. There could be some thunder embedded in the general stratiform rains as elevated instability is present. Deeper moisture peels off to the east by Thursday with surface high building in and showers tapering off for Thursday and Friday before POPs increase again for the weekend as upper low approaches from the southwest. Cold front should be through on Sunday with fair weather returning after that.

Very warm this morning, more like a July morning, but the rain was a complete flop here. It rained for about 1 minute and that was it. It did manage to register in the rain gauge though, 0.01”! We did watch the lightening for a while, seemed to be in every direction around us.
Last night = wind, thunder, lightening, rain. About .5 inches of rain!
Not much in the way of rain here just 0.11″ But there was a lot of wind and some lightning. It stayed warm overnight and it reached 76 overnight here at my house and GRR. Do not see the high reached during the overnight very often during the warm season. At this time it is clear and 67 here at my house.
