After a quiet weather pattern, things should become more interesting over the next couple of days. The remnants of Cristobal will be nosing into the area this evening through tomorrow. Temps today will be near or above 90° with dewpoints rising to near 70 overnight which will give us a very warm and humid night.
Cristobal will move to the west of us through Wisconsin which will place us on the eastern outer bands of the storm system. Most of the area should see around an inch of rain from this system with the threat of a few storms which we will have to monitor.

The high at Muskegon so far of 95 is the 3rd warmest reading ever recorded at Muskegon in the month of June with a reading of 98 in 1995 and a 97 in 1953 being the only times it has been warmer at Muskegon in June.

Here at my house I have 95 with a DP of 61 While at Muskegon the record there is now 95 and their current DP is 62. At Holland 91 DP is at 65 and down at Kalamazoo it is also 91 with a DP of 61.

New record has been set at Muskegon with a current temperature of 92 between readings a temperature of 93 was reported and that sets a record. The old record was 90 set in 1968. At Grand Rapids the latest official reading is 89 with a DP of 63. The current record for the date here at GR is 93 set in 1964. Here at my house I have a reading of 94 with a DP of 62. Other readings in the area are 92 at Holland and 91 at Kalamazoo.

Just got back from a nice walk. At this time it is a nice warm summer morning. The current temperature here is 70 with a DP of 55. At this time it looks like most of the rain today will be to the west of here. Most of the rain at this time is in Missouri and heading N or NW.

Starting this afternoon weather could get interesting around here winds heavy rain possible Tornado’s with a tropical system the tornado chances are better then a severe thunderstorm it will be a great day of tracking I have been up since 4am getting my weather page rolling with the lastest going to be hot also ugggg but cooler temps on the way 20 to 30 degrees cooler yes..We have it all in Michigan have a good day prepare now for a storm coming ..INDY
Might have to get the jackets out. We were in Bay City Sunday and with a NE wind coming off the bay and temperatures in the mid 60’s it felt cool to say the least. I had shorts on and I wished I had a jacket.
