After a pleasant weekend things will start to warm up today:
Temperatures will be well into the 80s to around 90 today and Tuesday before the tropical system over the Gulf Region brings showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday. Strong gusty winds are also expected, out of the south on Tuesday night and out of the west-southwest Wednesday afternoon and evening. Scattered power outages are possible. Cooler, drier weather moves in on Thursday.
Below is the SPC forecast for severe weather tomorrow everning through Wednesday.
40 degree temperature swings coming that’s amazing …..INDY
So for Wednesday, it appears two scenarios are possible. If the cold front moves through in the morning, severe weather chances are limited. If the front does not move through until the afternoon, the chance of severe weather increases remarkably.
I’m no meteorologist. This is from the afternoon forecast discussion.
By tomorrow, we will have experienced only 3 below average days in the last 22 days. Incredible warm stretch!
After tomorrow’s warm up mid 70’s as far as the eye can see Ahhhhhh for the middle of June we will take it ….Have a super Monday …INDY
For the first week of June, GR is +3.5 degrees above average and averaging 89% total sunshine. I love it!
