Another Sunny Day – Black Lives Matter

First of all, I would like to give my thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement.

All through my childhood, I wondered what the ruckus was all about in regards to people of color.  Being raised in the church I was taught we as men, women and children were all created as equals.  We are all human beings and are to treat each other with love and respect.

For some reason, many in my parents and grandparents generation thought otherwise though I could never understand the reasoning behind it.  Neither could my friends of color.  Many of us put race aside and look at all as members of the same team which in my mind is the way it should be.

I am not going to get into the historical reasoning of why we owe our black and Indian friends and neighbors time to listen and hear their thoughts and struggles, however, we have to hear and understand what they have to say and reach a common ground of equality.

We have a couple more nice days in store, then the heat and humidity will build back in. The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will lift north through Wisconsin Tuesday night. This system will send very warm air northward, and high temperatures on Tuesday will reach or exceed 90.

After a period of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into early Wednesday, a strong cold front will sweep through on Wednesday and west winds behind the front could gust as high as 50 mph.  Looking towards next weekend we could see high temps fall into the 60s.  Below is the 6 to 10-day temp forecast for chances of below normal temps.
