Yet Another Beautiful Day

Not much to say today as there isn’t much going on weather wise.  July is certainly making up for our cool and rainy June.  An area of high pressure is drifting to our south and over Ontario which has effectively blocked formation of any clouds or allowing the humidity to rise to unbearable levels.  This ridge will meander away and we will begin to see our temps rise along with the humidity.  Our next chance of rain comes on Monday.

While we are enjoying a sunny and pleasant week that is not the case in much of Europe. “On Tuesday, Meteo France registered 41.2C (106.1F) in the south-western city, breaking a 2003 record of 40.7C. Forecasters predict a record-breaking run across Europe this week, including Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Good graphics on upwelling out at the lake. Hard to believe some people still do not understand this and think the whole lake is one uniform temperature. There’s always several times during the year when there are huge temp swings one way or the other.

Not sure what you could possibly be trying to argue when there are many places to find information on upwelling. Is this like a flat earth thing?

Amazing what a east wind can do and yes even Bill Steffens agrees lk Michigan watet temps in the 40’s the end of July is rare …In Bill we trust!! INDY!!

Just how many know that the temperature near the bottom of the deeper lakes stays at 39 all yer long? And in the summer time the warmest temperatures are near the surface and in shallow water near the shore.
