We had another warm day yesterday, our temp rose to 83.5° with a dewpoint of 67.1°. We can expect another warm day today with highs in the mid-80s and DP’s in the mid-60s. The SPC has upgraded us into the marginal risk for storms this afternoon with the passage of a cold front. Even with this, our rain chances remain in the 30 to 40% range.
After the passage of the cold front, we will have smooth sailing through the weekend with toleratable temps into the mid-70s with mostly sunny skies.
Our next area of concern would be the remnants of tropical depression Cristobal moving up from the gulf mid-week next week. Tuesday could be hot and juicy with highs in the low 90s before we see Cristobal start to nose into the area. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out. Should this move into the area we could see a wet period Wednesday and Thursday.
