Hope you all had a good Easter/April Fools Day. Though it was cool and breezy outside most of the time was spent in fellowship inside.
Depending on where you live in the state today will probably be the warmest day of the week – unless you live in south southern Michigan. Tuesday is going to bring quite a variety of weather with the warm air south of Grand Rapids and cold air from GR to the north,
After another dry day today with highs in the 40s, Tuesday will be more interesting. Highs will range from the mid 30s north to the 50s south. A wintry mix of precipitation will begin tonight and continue through Tuesday with a few inches of accumulating snow expected around US-10. Some freezing rain with light ice accumulations will also be possible. Additionally, thunderstorms will be possible to the south Tuesday evening, particularly around I-94. The rest of the week will be unseasonably cold with highs in the 30s and scattered snow showers.
Grand Rapids will struggle to get to 40 tomorrow while Kalamazoo may hit 50°. Gaylord will be around freezing with several inches of snow. The Storm Prediction Center now has southern Michigan in the marginal risk for severe weather for tomorrow.
I wonder what the weather will bring tomorrow. We are under a WWA till 11 AM last I heard. I will take snow instead of ice any day. I wish it would just warm up a little.
Well, Michigan had a great season, but Villanova is just a buzzsaw!!
Great game!!! I knew they would win though. I wanted Michigan to win but they got to far behind. Great game.
Yep, Villanova was the best team, that is for sure! Their shooting was outstanding last night!
When the hottest team meets the best team, something has to give. I’m happy the B1G was represented in the championship.
Incredible COLD!

Still no big snow in sight for GR. GR’s snow drought continues. Who knew?
With this mornings low of 19° at GRR this year will be the 3rd coldest April 2nd on record here in GRR.
Here at my house I had a low of 16° over at the airport the low looks to have been 19° this is the coldest it has been for an April 2nd since the record low of 11° in 1965 and only the 3rd time it has gotten into the teens the other 2 times there was a snow cover not so this year.
