We have another beautiful day in store for today with temps near 60 or better. I am going to go out on a limb here and say our snow days are a thing of the past for this season, however, I look to the warnings and advisories to the west of us for snow and freezing drizzle and hope my prediction remains true. We won’t see the snow from that system as we remain on the warm side of things.
The CPC is now painting a picture of below normal temps, our normal temps are now in the low to mid-50s dependent where you live in the state. Below is the 8 to 14-day outlook which gives us a 58% chance of below-normal temps which would take us back into the mid to upper 40s.
Here is a list of some of the museums offering virtual tours:
And some zoos and aquariums:
The panda cam in the Atlanta Zoo
These are just a few to keep you entertained while you are at home…
A nice couple of days. Worthless mild days on tap with rain. Then…you know the drill…cold, well below average through May. Routine. Upside?…found toilet paper at Lowell Meijer’s, at 8:05am this morning. For those who require a silver lining.

We just checked it out with binoculars. Venus is really brilliant.
Looks like boating and kayaking may soon be banned. West Michigan tourism is already getting hit hard. Not good for the local economy.
Going to be a long summer. Hoping maybe by the fall things will be on the upswing. Time will tell.
WOOD has 59-68 degrees the next 6 days. Pure heaven!
Average high is currently only 52 degrees.
Nice and sunny here at this time the current temperature here at my house is at 50.

Last year April had some warm days and some cold days. I am not sure we are going to be as warm as we were last April.

I’ve just checked out Bill’s CPC map, and it is predicting warmer than normal for the next 8-14 days (this prediction is from his “finally some sunshine” April 3 post). His map is dated 9-15th. I don’t see a date on your map. Could that be the reason for the predictions being so different?
This is from yesterdays guesses from the CPC – his maps are from April 1st
