We have had some nice weather as of late, especially on the weekends when it is most needed for our enjoyment. With the drier pattern, we have had a chance to dry out the soggy ground and give the inland lakes and rivers a chance to fall a bit as they drain into the great lakes. Contrary to the cold weather collusionist, there is no change to these warmer temps in sight!
There is a chance of a cool down at the end of the month and start of April but we shall see that may change.

Up to 62 here, over 20 degrees above average for today. Incredible! All the local golf courses are just packed, Spring fever has hit. Interesting how some are still claiming their entire yard is covered with snow.
It is now at 65 here at my house. 62 GRR Today will be at least the 5th (tie) warmest March 8 in Grand Rapids history. (64 in 2012 is the 4th warmest) 78 in 2000 is the warmest, 71 in 2016 is the 2nd warmest and 70 in 1987 is the warmest.

It is beautiful outside. All my Spring flowers are popping up too. It is funny how we all can feel it when we push our clocks ahead an hour. It will take a few days to get used to it and recover from loosing an hour’s sleep. It is still worth it though. I hope everybody can get outside and enjoy this beautiful day!
No snow on the ground, very short and extremely mild winter, close to 60 degrees and sunny today, warm start to March and more warmth coming up… I love it!

Even after the cool start yesterday morning, the day still ended up above average temperature wise. This is getting to be quite the long stretch of mild weather, going all the way back to early December. Best time of year to be above because we don’t really want it in July again.
