We had quite a breezy day yesterday. A good portion of the leaves blew off the trees, of course after leaf blowing and mulching over the weekend it is time to do the same once again. I am lucky enough to have woodlots to move the excess leaves to, most I mulch back into the lawn with my tractor.
We had .51 of an inch of rain yesterday with a high temp of 70° and a few peeks of the sun. We had a few rumbles of thunder as the front pushed through.We currently have 39° at 5:30 am.
Sunrise today is 7:54 am and sunset at 7:03 pm (Otsego). If you are in Lansing it will be 7:49 and 7:00 respectively. On November 1st we set our clocks back one hour and sunset times will be around 5:30.
The official outlook from NOAA for us for January through March is near normal temps and above normal precip! Can you say tons of Snow with multiple snowstorms for West MI! I absolutely love it! Bring it!

70 degrees yesterday was nice for mid October!

We had .6 in the gauge here, east of Hamilton. Not exactly looking forward to the weather predictions for this weekend/next week, but it is mid October… Enjoy the sun and 60’s today 🙂
I recorded 0.44″ of rain here yesterday in two very heavy showers. I did not seen any hail nor was there any thunder to report here. The leaves around here are near full color and there was a lot of leave fall yesterday. The high here at my house was 71 and the official high at the airport was 70. The overnight low here at my house was a cool 38 and at this time it is clear and 39.
