Expect showers to move in and to be widespread this morning, some wet snow could mix in with the rain at times inland of Lake Michigan. The showers will come to an end by early afternoon. Highs will be in the lower to mid-40s in southwest Michigan. Clearing skies are expected by evening.
Overall a prolonged period with little or no precipitation will begin Wednesday and last into next week. The CPC is guessing a prolonged period of slightly warmer than normal temps and dryer than normal precip wise. Normal temps would be in the low 50s for the end of October into early November. Zeta may provide some showers in SE lower Michigan towards the end of the week.

I had no interest in standing outside for many hours in 38 degrees and rain, but we did park at the end of the runway. I was able to get a decent video of the landing. It’s not every day you get to see Air Force One. Very cool. That’s a big bird.

At this time there is some light rain falling and the temperature is 38. It stayed cloudy last night and the low here was 38. The color is still very good in this area.
