Forecast Discussion

- Fair and dry weather, warming into the end of the week

Weak zonal upper level flow will dominate the pattern through the
later half of the work week. Temperatures today will be around
normal due to the passage of the cold front. Strong southerly
flow will advect warm air into the region tonight into tomorrow
bringing max temperatures back into the 70s on Thursday. That is
around 10 degrees above normal.

- Mostly Dry Weather through early Next Week

Quiet weather continues next several days with model guidance in
fair agreement for a only a couple chances for rain late this week
into next weekend. These will occur with frontal passages on Friday
morning and again late Saturday into Sunday. Neither event is
forecast to have deeper moisture to work with across most of the
forecast area so POPs are fairly low. Some elevated instability
could result in some thunderstorms as well.

High pressure overhead on Friday night and Monday night will bring
clear skies and light winds. Scattered frost is a possibility on
Saturday and Tuesday mornings with temperatures in the 30s possible.
