We had some flurries here about 2pm. It’s that time of year again, so not a surprise. Please be safe and sensible. The COVID numbers are skyrocketing. Sparrow hospital in Lansing has more COVID patients now than any other time since the beginning of the pandemic. Clinton county is getting slammed right now. More than 1,000 new cases just in the past week. My mom lives in DeWitt. DeWitt township police is closed due to too many personnel testing positive. DeWitt city police and Clinton County county sheriff are pitching in with patrols and calls. I drove by the police… Read more »

Just more steps closer to herd immunity!! Good thing is about this, the Covid death rate is remaining flat in Michigan.

My best friend just got over Covid19 he said it’s basically the flu in his opinion I’m hearing that alot these days from people…Wash your hands stay 6 feet apart…INDY

That’s true INDY! I was reading some articles from doctors in Michigan saying that the virus is becoming less deadly. It’s more or less becoming like a flu. It’s just something we’re going to have to live with now. No way we shut down the state again! Stay 6 feet apart, wear your mask in stores and at work, protect the vulnerable and wash your hands frequently!!

My son and daughter in law both work at Spectrum Health. There are now over 170 people at Spectrum in Grand Rapids with Covid 19. Some of the ones there are very sick and some will die in the next week or two. As for Indy I am glad you friend was OK but there are way too many who will die. Way too many people think the way that you two Indy/Andy do. I will let you know that this is a weather blog and it will NOT be overran by a lot of non weather related comments.

39 degrees…nothing to see here, perfectly normal. The dead of Winter in the Southern Arctic.

Looking out the window it is surprising on how much color still remains on some of the trees. Here in my area there are trees that have dropped all their leaves and others that are in peak color. The low and current temperature here is 35 with a cold north wind.
