Some mo rain is a comin’. We had .16 of an inch yesterday morning with a mainly gloomy day though the sun tried to poke out a few times towards the evening. I did manage to transplant some peppermint in pots – they are very prolific – I have an herb garden with three different varieties. I keep some in flower pots in the house for our cat to graze on. She doesn’t go outside so she needs something to help with her digestion – she loves it.
We could see another .5 to one inch of rain from this next system maybe more if you get under a storm though we are not expecting them to become severe.
Low pressure moving northeast from Missouri will bring widespread rain and cool temperatures today and tonight. Clouds will linger in the wake of this system on Tuesday then sunny and warm weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday. Memorial Day Weekend starts out warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms, then ends up dry for the holiday.
We are in a stretch of below normal temps with a lot of clouds!
Cold, overcast, rain…the wothless MI days are now amounting to an embarassing pile. 1 inch of rain so far today in Ada.
2018 = writeoff
Cloudy, wet and cool is the best way to describe today.
Slim
Hopefully tomorrow it clears out early. It is so wet and cool and dreary. A little sunshine would be nice.
