We could still see chances of showers mainly this morning before clearing out this afternoon and humidity levels gradually drop off to more comfortable conditions. This will leave us with a comfortable airmass in place for Thursday and Friday before the heat and humidity build back in for the weekend with chances of rain and storms.
The chilliness in the air is refreshing tonight. I sure am glad the weather is quieter tonight. 🙂 The next couple of days should be beautiful!
40″s in Lake county tonight yup Fall is close ….INDY!!
Sounds chilly there.
Get ready for lows around 50 degrees tonight and low 50’s tomorrow night! INCREDIBLE!
Above normal temps for the holiday weekend and all of next week! Get ready to turn your A/C back on.
Quite the storms yesterday here! The first batch that went through dropped the hail in the pic above. Probably not the smartest thing to do, but when I saw it bouncing all over the yard I just had to run out and grab some. Kinda hurt getting hit with it. Lots of debris all over the yard to clean up, but no trees down. 3 day total for rain since about midnight Sunday is just over 6 and a half inches. Seems like that’s about how much rain we’ve had all year!
Barry… LOL!!! I ran out and took pix. Trying to be fast due to the lightning!!!
ADA – 2.2 inch storm total.
Thanks for using my pic… it was a pretty interesting sky that’s for sure.
I’m thinking 3 days of storms was monther nature saying pattern change we welcome Fall!! INDYDOG14!!
Even though you’ve been talking about fall for a month now, it’s not going to feel close to fall weather until at least mid September at the earliest. Might as well enjoy summer?
This week just goes to show how fast a weather pattern can change. We have gone from very dry to very we//t. Here at my house (reports are not broken down by dates but by when I empty the rain gauge) 8/26 2.28″ 8/27 1.51″ 8/29 2.17″ for a total so far this week of 6.06″ here in my yard.
Slim
We’ve only seen 3 below average days the entire month. We’ve now had 4 straight warm months in a row, and it’s looking like 2018 will be our third warm year in a row. It looks like the heat hangs on for at least another 10 days.
Highest temp is 84* in the next 10 days that’s not too hot …Stick a fork in the heat till next summer!! Bring on Fall!! INDY!!
WOOD has plenty more mid 80’s coming up with dew points in the upper 60’s. More hot and muggy coming!
And WOOD was 100% WRONG with their 90 degree predictions for GR during your so called heat wave! What a joke! Hype and spin!
Rock on INDY! Mookie is a lost cause with the warm weather spin! NO HEAT WAVES ARE IN SIGHT!
