Seems we are living in the tropics the past few days. We picked up another .65 of an inch of rain bringing our total to 6.07 for the month of May. This is much above the 4.15 inches we had last May in Otsego. The good news is the rain will move out this morning bringing back the sun and cooler less humid temps to the area.
Our normal high for the end of May is around 74°. We will see our temps fall into the mid 60s over the weekend with plenty of sunshine to help dry out the soggy land. Looking at last years posts for May we had a wet cooler than normal month which put crop planting behind schedule which is the case this year. Our next chance of showers may come next Monday night giving us a few days to dry out.
66-80 degrees, low humidity, and mostly sunny 6 out of the next 8 days. Michigan is about to have the best weather in the county as far as I’m concerned. I love it!
The two day rain fall total here at my house was 2.12” this is much more than was recorded at the airport mostly as 3 rain events on Wednesday dropped a total of 1.73” here and just 0.01” at the airport. Now the sun is out here with clear blue skies but it is much cooler then that last few days. The current temperature here is now just 63. While I have had shorts on the last few days it looks like it will be back to long pants on for the next few days.

Oh yeah, we are going to do some painting and outside house work this weekend and the weather will be absolutely gorgeous for that! Also going to be doing some fires, s’mores and sprites too!
We have now had 9 straight warm days in a row. It looks like 2-3 cooler days before the heats builds again. May departure is down to only -1.7 degrees.
-0.7 here. Anything +/- 1 or 2 is basically average and unremarkable.
