We have a relatively warm morning with a temp of 58.5° at 5 am in Otsego down a couple of degrees since midnight. Cool air will be funneling in as we go through the day so I am thinking this may be the high temp for the day. We still haven’t had a hard freeze in southern lower Michigan and I think our lows for the week will maintain the mid-30s.
High temps will stay in the 50s for the rest of the week into next week with our typical pattern of clouds with slight chances of sprinkles and light rain with the exception of tomorrow when the sun may make an appearance. As you can see below this is the guess for cool pattern into the weekend.
Knowing Michigan weather as I do, I use a lot of modal verbiages such as could and may because things seem to change from day to day in our area as we try to make sense of weather patterns crossing the lake.

Today will be another day when the high was reached before sun rise. While not unusual during the winter season this fall has already seen several days when the high was reached before sun rise. Today high will read in the record books as being 59. At the current time it is 50 here with cloudy skies.
