Below is today’s hazards map from the NWS showing a quiet weather pattern over the U.S. – the only areas of note are the gray areas which denote Air Quality Alerts and Red Flag Warnings for southwest Colorado.
This makes for some easy forecasting for area Mets though I think most prefer some excitement from storms to keep it interesting.
The last time we had measurable rain was early on the 13th. We may see some scattered showers and storms tomorrow afternoon and on Sunday though it won’t be widespread and the weekend won’t be a total washout.
High temps today and tomorrow will be near 90° with dewpoints around 60 to 65 so the air will become a bit more uncomfortable for working outside.
That said we have another bland day in store for Michigan with not much else to talk about weatherwise…
The official high today at GRR was 91 it was also 91 at Kalamazoo. At the lake shore it was 89 at both Holland and Muskegon. To the east the reported high at Lansing was 90. Here at my house I recorded a high of 93. Currently it is 83 here at my house with a DP now down to 56.

Looks like the heat is going to continue. 91 here today for our 4th 90 degree day already for the Spring. Was not pleasant at all working today. Have fun at the lake!
If one is to believe the new CPC long range guess it looks like above average temperatures for the rest of the summer and into the fall and early winter season. I will hold judgment on that at this time.

Here at my house I now have reached 90 with a DP of 60. The last reading at GRR was 85 with a DP of 58. Will have to see if GRR reaches 90 today.

Yet another sunny day. I just back from a nice long walk. This morning is a nice and warm early summer day. The current temperature here at my house is 80 with a DP of 67. The low here at my house was 61 and the official low at GRR was 60.

I have used my ac about 4 days all season! Incredible! Sun and 80’s with lower dew points = no ac!

Another steamer of a day on tap as we come to the end of Spring. Already three 90 degree days here and maybe another today. AC’s been cranking for 2 months already and it’s not even Summer yet. We could really use some rain. All the sunshine is making everything crispy.
