We have one more gorgeous day in store before the heat and humidity starts to build in. For those of you who love the tropical air masses we see in mid summer you are going to enjoy an extended period of seven or more days with 90s being common for highs starting Monday.
We have a cool 53° this morning at the Weather Center. Yesterday evening was great for our dogs to play outside in the backyard. I take my cat Monster out for a walk around the yard on a leash every evening – he gets all excited when I get his leash out because he knows it is time for some fun outside. He is an indoor cat who has long hair so we don’t want him to run free in the brambles and stick tights which are hard to get out of his fur. Yes, they do make leashes, body harnesses and collars for cats.

I was looking at some old posts on one of my previous blogs (before I transitioned to all weather posts) – they are still available at Ancient Dreams One. There is a lot of info there from weather, electronics, woodcarving to various rants starting in 2012.
To the left is one of my carvings I use for my mailbox post which has been holding up nicely since 2012. The carving on the right is on my deck. This all starts out with a log (center). Wood carving is hard work and the use of chisels and chainsaws can be dangerous and unforgiving. I used to create two or three a year of the larger ones, now I try to do one.
Check out this hail in Italy

The tornado video is crazy scary, but at the end when it clears up and you can see, where did that guy come from on the right just sitting on the road??
I agree Barry! I think that’s a woman, who “dropped” in?…or was blown from a wrecked vehicle. Interesting footage, never to be filmed in Ada :/
