Well, the excitement of heavy lake effect snow has once again floundered as the atmospheric conditions don’t have enough energy to set it in motion. We may see a couple inches or so along the lakeshore counties tomorrow and Wednesday before temps warm once again into the upper 30s by the end of the week….

Icing on Roads & Bridges
With the cold air moving in by mid week and slick travel a possibility in west Michigan it is time for a refresher coarse in driving. It still amazes me that people drive on the freeway during a snow event as if there isn’t any snow at all. Icing of the road is very dangerous…
December 7th 1941.
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the assassination of President Kennedy. This week I will touch on a earlier date that change the course of American history. At 7:55 a.m. HST (12:22 EST) . We are now coming into a more ‘pleasant’ weather pattern for this week – we should even see the sun make an appearance later today! Temps in SW Michigan should be in the mid 30s to near 40 most of the week. No snowstorms seem apparent at this time. The main Arctic airmass remains locked…
