Good morning to you all. Hard to believe we are closing out the month of November this week and the last week of meteorological fall. Yesterday our high was 39° with partly cloudy skies.
All in all it appears to be a fairly decent week shaping up with the exception of some more rain and wind moving into the area in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame with a bit of snow on the backside of the system. Thanksgiving looks to be dry with highs near 40°.
A more interesting slow moving system may be moving in at the end of the week with some frozen precipitation, to early to tell storm track or such. I have been looking at some long range models and reading some of the other Mets thoughts on the first couple weeks of December – we may see another incursion of cold air sneaking in from the Arctic to begin our winter months with snow.
